full time Linux Systems Administrator (Mid-Senior level)

at Seven Seven in Pasig City

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Unix team as a linux system administrator.
  • Install, set-up, maintain, and manage the LINUX servers in an enterprise virtual server environment.
  • Contribute to the set-up, maintenance, and management of Unix servers.
  • Install, set-up, maintain, and manage third parties software as part of the core IT infrastructure, like the backup and recovery system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in the area of his/her responsibility

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in SUSE linux server administration, installation, patch updates, and system maintenance.
  • Must have experience in technical support engineer person in enterprise environment Must have experience in back-end support to other technical support teams.
  • Familiar with SUSE linux security.
  • Familiar working with system monitoring tools.
  • Novell Certified Linux Engineer (SUSE linux enterprise server).
  • Working experience in a controlled enterprise environment and familiarity with ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of system and network security, including knowledge of Standards, policies and technologies
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Job role in System Administrator or Network/System Engineer.
  • 2 Contract position available.
  • Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
