Knowledge
1. Extensive knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems
2. Basic to advanced programming knowledge
3. Basic to advanced database management knowledge
4. Basic familiarity with web technologies/web services such as SOAP, HTTP, etc.
5. Basic familiarity with enterprise application platforms such as Tomcat, Glassfish


Skills & Abilities
1. Writing, maintaining and executing shell scripts (sh/ksh/bash)
2. Writing and executing SQL statements (PL/SQL)
3. Maintaining databases (Creating tables, inserting/removing records, truncation of tables, committing transactions) preferably using Oracle
4. Creating and maintaining crontabs/cron jobs
5. Install/uninstall, deploy/undeploy, backup/restore enterprise applications from web console


Experience
1. At least 2 years experience in working with UNIX/Linux in terminal environments/remote management via terminal
2. At least 1-2 years in working with/managing databases, preferably Oracle
3. At least 1 year experience in managing enterprise application servers


Qualifications
1. At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science or related courses; or equivalent relevant experience
