Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. * 5+ years of software development experience using JAVA/J2EE. * Strong hands on experience with Core Java and J2EE technologies. * Experience with various frameworks such as Spring MVC, Struts, Hibernate, Portlets and other related open source technologies. * Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies. * Knowledge of various Java and J2EE Design Patterns * Experience with n-tiered enterprise software application design and development. * Knowledge of computer network infrastructures, technologies and protocols. * Experience with Web Interface development (HTML, XHTML, XML, XSL, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript). * Experience with automated Java build and test software (Ant, Maven, JUnit). * Ability to determine unique and creative solutions to problems within a rapid development environment. * Ability to work well independently or within a team, especially cross-functional team. * Experience with SQL/Database such as MySQL, Postgre * Knowledge and/or experience in application containers such as Tomcat, Glassfish or JBoss * Creates well designed, reusable objects and understands browser specific compatibility issues. * Provides work direction to assigned Junior Developers. Responsible to answer questions from other Developers/Analysts in the absence of the Project Manager. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Applicants must be willing to work in Lapu-lapu City....
