DBA & APPLICATION SUPPORT TEAM LEADER

ROLE OVERVIEW

Guide the Team managing the day to day planning. Develop the team skills, offering creative solutions.
Department: Technical Support Services – Oracle Technical Support
Reporting: Technical Support Services Chief Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Manage the day–to-day planning, operation and problem-solving of a team of agents to meet with the required service level components, standards and sales targets
•Monitoring, coaching and feedback, Motivation, leadership for the team and developing future leaders
•Responsible for training and development of the staff
•Recommendations for product and process development based on customer feedback and analysis of the same
•Conducting performance appraisal for the team
•Provides ongoing observation and behavioural feedback to employees regarding their performance
•Manages all technical and scheduling project aspects and coordinate with the other team members towards an effective and efficient execution of the project
•Compiling reports on team’s performance and customer feedback
•Work very closely with team members to solve customer problems. Also needs to understand agent's problems and weaknesses and address these
•Offers solutions and suggestions for process and product improvement to management
•Required making decisions on any matters relating to improving revenue generation & customer satisfaction
•Responsible for making suggestions on training requirement for team members and adjusting targets to suit the needs of the business
•Gather the Team for regular times of reflection, planning and implementation
•Assign roles and responsibilities to Team members
•Ensure the timely and effective completion of tasks and activities
•Ensure the team understands and adheres to the expectations and responsibilities given
•Ensure that the team have been filled out the time sheets and deliver it to the PMO on the required date
•Assist in training new employees
•Facilitates weekly Section meeting to communicate information to staff and to solicit input
•Maintains and encourages good communication within the section, and between the section and other individuals, sections, and departments


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•University Degree in computer science, computer engineering or Information System, or related field
•5 Years in the same field
•At least 2 years experience in a Managerial position
•Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
•Managing team members and customers expectations
